NWS Aviation Weather

Field elevation is 1950’

Runway 21L-3R is the designated runway for our fly-in, with traffic patterns south of the airport at 2,800 ft. MSL downwind. Runway 21R-3L is certainly available if necessary, however, ATC has requested that we operate off of the south runway.

Runway 21L-3R is 3, 509 feet in length, 75 feet in width.

Runway 21R-3L is 4500 feet in length, 150 feet in width

KSFF: TWR 132.5 GROUND 121.7 ATIS 120.55

CTAF 132.5 UNICOM 122.95 NORDO Tower 353-2946

The tower’s hours of operation are 0600 PDST to 2000 PDST.

Touch and go’s are hightly encouraged all day Saturday and will make the event fun for all! Military style overhead approaches are also acceptable to both ATC and the FSDO at 2,500 feet MSL.

We do not have an air show waiver and must abide by all FARs. Maximum speed in the Class “D” airspace is 200 knots. Consult your chart for class “C” airspace north, west, and south of Felts Field. Noise sensitive areas exist in the hills northwest through northeast of the field! Please fly safely and respectfully!

GROUND PROCEDURES

Thank you for your consideration in helping us to avoid accidents and close calls! Please keep an eye out for our aircraft parking volunteers. They are wearing brightly colored vests and are more than happy to assist in marshalling parking traffic, answering questions, ground handling of your aircraft, etc.

We ask you to please avoid firing up and pulling directly out of your parking spot. Please ask for assistance to push your airplane out into the aisle. Then fire up and be marshaled to the taxiway. Your parking location will be reserved and you may return to your original parking location.

The fuel truck can be requested by Unicom 122.95 or call 509-535-9011. There is also a self serve credit card fuel pump on the ramp just west of the tower. Felts Field Aviation will be offering fuel off of the truck during our fly-in at card pump prices, so give them a call. Please advise the fuel truck that you are with the fly-in.

The ramp area just in front of and to the west of the club house will be available for attendees. If this area becomes filled we will use the grass area on the east end of the field. We would like to mainly have the fly-in homebuilts and classics in front of the clubhouse. (Not that Cessnas aren’t nice too.) We will have a van available to ferry people from the east end back to the clubhouse.

VENUE INFORMATION

Street arrivals for the 2008 fly-in can park in the parking lot just east of the clubhouse. Overflow can park on the south shoulder of Rutter. Access to the ramp is through the EAA79 clubhouse.
